IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

Ministry of Sound Classical Sydney

This event is fully sold out & there is a major sporting event in the precinct.
Please arrive early to avoid congestion at the gates.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Valid photo ID (Drivers Licence, Passport, NSW Photo Card) – this event is strictly 18+
  • Your valid event tickets, either printed or presented on your fully charged mobile phone
  • Tip: show your ticket for free rides to/from the event on all Transport for NSW services!
  • Your bank card either in physical form or PayWave - this event is cashless
  • Weather protection, such as a hat and/or a poncho, sun protection
  • An empty re-usable plastic water bottle to use at the NSW Water chilled drink stations

 

TRANSPORT & ARRIVAL

Transport for NSW services are free with your event ticket.
Show your ticket either printed or on your mobile phone for free transport to and from the event on Train/Rail networks (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone & Dugong Stations),  Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan Bus services, Harbour City and Newcastle Ferries, Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail and Sydney Metro North West.

We recommend using public transport - parking will be limited and road closures in place.

LIGHT RAIL
There will be additional Light Rail services available post-event to ensure a smooth departure.
The Light Rail (Moore Park) is a 5-minute walk from the event.

TRAIN
Central Station is a 15-minute walk from the event.

TAXI & RIDE SHARE
Driver Avenue will be closed for the duration of the event.
The best location for taxi drop off/pick up will be Errol Flynn Boulevard.

PARKING
There is a Wilson car park located directly behind the Entertainment Quarter.
Disabled parking is available at the Wilson carpark.

Please be mindful of the Entertainment Quarter neighbours when departing the event.

 

TICKET INCLUSIONS

There are multiple ticket types for this event. Please double-check your tickets before you arrive and use the entry lane dedicated to your ticket type upon arrival.

GENERAL ADMISSION 
Access to all general admission areas of the event, including the Main Stage, Silent Disco Spiegeltent, Golden Stage, picnic paradise and multiple bars.
General Admission ticket holders do not have access to Premium Admission lanes or V.I.P Village.

PREMIUM ADMISSION
 
If you hold a Premium Admission ticket, please use the Premium Admission Lane dedicated to your ticket at the entry. You will also be able to use the Premium Admission lanes at the 3 main bars and dedicated Premium Admission bathrooms located at the event. Premium Admission ticket holders will not have access to Kraken V.I.P Village.

KRAKEN V.I.P VILLAGE
If you hold a V.I.P Village ticket, please enter the event via the V.I.P lane. You will receive two drink tokens upon entry to redeem inside the Kraken V.I.P Village.
The Kraken V.I.P Village features an exclusive bar with premium products, two dedicated food vendors, private bathrooms, shade, seating, and a V.I.P Concierge with complimentary phone charging and cloakroom/merchandise facilities. V.I.P Village ticket holders do not have access to Premium Admission facilities.

THE EVENT SITE & TRANSPORT
The event site at the Entertainment Quarter is mostly greenery, with some paths throughout the venue. There is a car park within a few hundred metres of the event entry, and public transport facilities (light rail and bus stops) within a 5-minute walk to the entry.
There are accessible drop-off areas at Errol Flynn Boulevard near the event entrance.

ACCESSIBLE ENTRY
If you have access requirements of any kind, please use the V.I.P. entry lane and advise our gate staff if you need any help navigating the site.

COMPANION CARDS
Companion cards do not need to be booked. Companions with a valid companion card will be welcomed at entry and provided the same wristband or access as the person (with a valid entry ticket) that they arrive with.

BATHROOMS
There are accessible bathrooms available in all ticket types/areas of the event.

ACCESSIBLE VIEWING
There is an accessible viewing platform in the General Admission area.
Our friendly Accessibility Host will be there to answer any questions you may have and ensure an enjoyable experience for all.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS
If you do arrive at the site with any of the following prohibited items you will be required to cloak the items (at your own cost) before entering and may not be permitted entry to the event & be subject to fines from local authorities.

  • Illicit drugs
  • Alcohol or any other liquids
  • Food items
  • Aerosols
  • Glass or aluminium, including water bottles
  • Professional photo or video equipment.
  • Drones & anything with a detachable lens will not be permitted.
  • Animals (other than registered service dogs)
  • Flares, fireworks, lasers or laser pointers.
  • Any item that you intend to distribute, sell, offer, or expose for sale, display or marketing/promotional purposes
  • Any item the promoter, security or staff may deem to cause a nuisance or obstruction including selfie sticks, poles, flags, banners
  • Anything that may be reasonably considered a weapon
  • Skateboards, bikes, hoverboards
  • Backpacks (anything smaller than A4 is fine)
  • Eskies, cooler bags, ice packs
  • Umbrellas, shade tents, chairs
  • Glow sticks, flashlights, torches
